Day 6, 359 days to go on a Plant Based Lifestyle.
Although I tend to snack a bit more, weekends are much easier to keep on track with my meals and my “to do list”. This is when I like to see my progress for the week. Over the years I tried a lot of apps to see if any of them are actually helpful. Here are the top 5 “get healthy apps” that I found most useful for myself and my clients:

1. “Strava”- if you love to take your workouts outside and you have the slightest bit of a competitive edge this one is for you. It allows you to track your run, bike, swim etc and compare your performance against others who have done the same activity, including your friends.
2. “Aaptiv”- this app is an absolute marvel! If you need a personal coach (or several) and you can’t afford one well this app has you covered. It features running, cycling, rowing programs for the outdoors and indoors. You actually have someone motivating you through a workout and tell you exactly what to do to make the most out of it! This program helped me truly enjoy interval training. You can use both strava and aaptiv at the same time without any problems. Also the music they play is not bad at all!
3. “Tone it Up”- this is a new app it has been around for about a year. If you need to work out at home or you want to keep fit while you travel this app is amazing! It is set up so you can join a strength and weight lifting session at different time intervals. You get to join the class virtually with your friends or other like minded women. Very good quality video and intense workouts- you will feel the burn!
4. “Oprah&Deepak Meditation”-one of my goals for 2019 is to develop a meditation practice. I’ve used this app for the 21 day meditation series and it motivated me to keep going. The only downside is that the in-app purchases are a little pricey.
5. “Done”-If you are serious about tracking your habits then this is the app for you. It is super easy to use and you can set reminders and motivational tips for yourself to keep going. Your progress can be tract by day, week, month and year, super fun graphics. Here is my list for today:

There are so many more options on helping you stay on track but the very best one will be the one you are actually going to use! Please comment below if you have any recommendations!
